Where Two or Three
— Matthew 18:20
Read at your own pace
Where Two or Three
Sit. Hands open. Read the verse slowly.
Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
The verse is a quiet revolution. It says: you do not need a cathedral. You do not need a stadium. You do not need a perfect congregation. Two or three. That is the threshold.
Who are the two or three in your life today? The friend you are going to call. The person you are going to sit with. Even the stranger you are going to smile at — you are gathering.
You do not have to do this alone. That is the whole invitation.
Let the breath be a small gathering. In: the One. Out: you. The One and you. The two. The temple.
Carry this with you. The presence is in the small gathering, not the large crowd.
A prayer
Lord, thank You for being in the small things. In the two, in the three. In me. Amen.
Scripture
"Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
— Matthew 18:20
For reflection
Even the smallest gathering — two, three — is a temple. The presence is not waiting for a crowd.
